Nitrous Oxide

Also known as laughing gas”, is a mild sedative that helps you relax during your treatment. This form of sedation is inhaled through a mask and is easily adjustable, allowing you to remain conscious and responsive throughout your procedure. Patients can resume normal activities after the procedure as soon as the administration of nitrous oxide is complete.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation involves taking a prescription medication one hour prior to your appointment, helping you feel calm and relaxed during our team treatment. With oral sedation, a patient has to have a responsible adult to bring them to the office and escort them home after the procedure is complete.

IV Sedation

For patients with more severe dental anxiety or those undergoing extensive procedures, IV sedation may be recommended. Administered intravenously, this sedation option allows you to enter a deep state of relaxation while still remaining conscious and able to respond to instructions. IV sedation takes time to wear off and you will need a responsible adult to escort you home and stay with you overnight.
